PETALING JAYA, Jan 10 — Two Nigerian nationals pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court here today to using criminal force by driving a car into a policeman, two weeks ago.
Oyo Oluwafemi Ayo, 28 and Muyiwa Adeboye Alyedun, 29, were charged with using criminal force to intimidate Mohammad Masri Puasa from discharging his duties by pushing the policeman to the road shoulder and then hitting him with the car.
The offence was allegedly committed at Jalan Kolej, Seri Kembangan, near here, at 12.30am last December 23.
The charge, under Section 323 of the Penal Code and read together with Section 34 of the same Code, carries a jail term of up to two years or a fine or both upon conviction.
Magistrate Nurulhuda Zakariya did not allow them bail and fixed February 8 for mention. — Bernama
