KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 ― The investigation of seven errant Umno members has been completed and the probe papers will be submitted to the party disciplinary committee soon, said Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
After the disciplinary committee had studied the matter, it would be left to the supreme council to decide on the penalty to be meted out,’ he said at a press conference called on the 2015 Umno General Assembly, here, today.
Tengku Adnan, when asked for the identity of the seven members, declined to name any but hinted that several members of the supreme council were on the list.
Recently sacked Gopeng Wanita UMNO chief Datuk Hamidah Osman was not on the list, he said. ― Bernama
