ALOR STAR, Jan 28 — A teenager was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here today with the murder of a 14-year-old girl in November last year.
Mohd Firdaus Mohd Faridul, 19, is accused of having murdered Noor Syafikah Nadia Abdullah in Kampung Alor Senibong, Mukim Tajar, near here between 9.30pm and 11.30pm on Nov 29.
The accused nodded to indicate he understood the charge. No plea was recorded.
Magistrate Mohd Khairul Hafizuddin Ramli set March 4 for mention.
Mohd Firdaus was not represented by counsel. Deputy Public Prosecutor Wan Noor Hasnita Wan Daud appeared for the prosecution. — Bernama
