LONDON, July 8 — Rafael Mantesso amassed a whole legion of fans across the world last year when his endearing illustrations of his beloved bull terrier Jimmy went viral.

As his followers know, Mantesso’s ex-wife left him on his 30th birthday. She took everything, leaving Rafael alone in an empty all-white apartment. The only thing she didn’t take was their bull terrier, whom she’d named after her favourite shoe designer: Jimmy Choo.

When Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi heard about Jimmy, she approached Mantesso about collaborating on a capsule collection featuring the popular Instagram pooch.

The result is the appropriately named Choo Hound.

It features items such as a bag with the bull terrier lounging with a martini, which is priced at US$1,050 (RM4,000), and an iPhone case depicting the dog daydreaming of shoes, which costs US$75.

Of course, the collection wouldn't be complete without a selection of high-end dog collars — all in mirrored silver and white with chunky gold studs.
