BUENOS AIRES, April 12 — Actress Luisana Lopilato, the wife of singer Michael Buble, has shared an update on her son’s health, five months after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking at a press conference for her latest film in Buenos Aires, she said three-year-old Noah is doing much better now.

“Thank God, my son is well,” she said in Spanish before thanking the public for their support.

“I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.

“It’s difficult for me to speak about this. It’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject.

“But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street. It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.”

Lopilato, who also has a one-year-old son, Elias, with her husband, added that the cancer diagnosis had sparked a lot of changes for the family.

The couple put their careers on hold when Noah was diagnosed.

She said: “When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.

The family returned to her hometown of Buenos Aires last month after Noah finished treatment in the US.

“My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with check-ups,” she shared.

“But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.”

Buble shared his son’s cancer diagnosis in November and Noah began four months of chemotherapy.
