MOSCOW, Oct 31 — Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained an accomplice in the attempted killing of former Ukrainian lawmaker and pro-Russian politician and businessman Oleg Tsaryov, Russian state news agencies reported today.
The FSB said in a statement that evidence had been obtained about the involvement of Ukrainian special services in the attempted assassination.
A source in the Ukrainian intelligence said on October 27 that the attempted assassination, in Yalta in Russian-annexed Crimea, had been carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). — Reuters
