SINGAPORE, Oct 27 — Jetstar Pacific, the Vietnam-based airline of the Jetstar Group, has today launched its first international service to Singapore, giving more options to Singaporean and Vietnamese travellers.

The new daily service will mean travellers now have the choice of four Jetstar flights a day between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City, the airline said in a statement here today.

The new service will mark the beginning of a new era of scheduled international services for Jetstar Pacific, which has been predominately a domestic carrier to date.

Le Hong Ha, Chief Executive Officer of Jetstar Pacific was in Singapore to celebrate the milestone which he said would allow the airline to work more closely with Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Airways.

Singapore and Southeast Asia are some of the most popular overseas destinations for Vietnamese travellers both for holidays and visiting friends and relatives.

Jetstar Pacific will continue its international expansion with new flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok from Dec 10. — Bernama
