NEW YORK, March 4 — Sony has set the release date for its virtual reality headset Project Morpheus as Spring 2016.
The brand has made some changes to its prototype design, which now boasts a display refresh rate of 120Hz, well above the 90Hz needed to prevent motion sickness. Sony has also swapped the previous 5-inch LCD screen for a 5.7 inch 1920 X RGB X 1080 resolution OLED display.
Morpheus is the first virtual reality headset designed for Sony Playstation 4 and is set to be released between April and June of next year. — AFP-Relaxnews
