KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — Hollywood actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's daughter has made her debut as a wrestler with her first televised appearance for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on NXT.

Calling herself Ava Raine, Simone has been promoted in recent episodes with her masked face lurking throughout the arena. She removed her red hoodie and face mask unveiling her new persona on Tuesday (Oct 25), People reported.

The 21-year-old, a fourth-generation WWE wrestler from her family, is the fourth member of wrestler Joe Gacy's faction Schism.

Simone, who is Dwayne's daughter with ex-wife Dany Garcia, had confirmed in May that she would be competing in the ring for the WWE and changed her official Twitter account to @AvaRaineWWE.

Simone was first signed by WWE as a trainee in 2020.

Announcing her signing with WWE then, Simone wrote in her Instagram:

"To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said 'this will be my life one day,' this is for you. I'm humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let's do this."

Dwayne also could not hold back his pride for his daughter.

"Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson, on officially signing her wrestling contract with WWE and NXT," he had said in an Instagram post.

"And on her way to becoming the first-ever 4th generation WWE athlete."
