PETALING JAYA, May 21 — The announcement of Guns N’ Roses’ Kuala Lumpur show on November 14 brought joy to thousands and now be prepared to battle it out to get tickets to the show.
Fans can pre-register at buytickets.com.my from May 28-31 and those selected to purchase the tickets will be given a link for them to do so on June 2.
Malay Mail confirmed with ticket promoter Galaxy Group earlier today.
Tickets for the show set for Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach are priced from RM288 (CAT4), RM488 (CAT3), RM688 (CAT2), RM988 (CAT1) and RM1288 (VVIP Rock Zone).
The award-winning rock n’ roll band took to Instagram on Saturday to announce seven new dates for their “Not In This Lifetime” tour in November: Jakarta (8), Manila (11), Taipei (17), Hong Kong (20 & 21) and Abu Dhabi on 25th of that month.
“We’re not done here yet,” the post mentioned.
This will be the first time the band will perform in Malaysia with the near original line-up of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan (missing drummer Steve Adler and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin).
The last time the band performed here was in 2013 but they only got a taste of Axl Rose’s Guns N’ Roses alongside Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus, bassist/vocalist Tommy Stinson and drummer Frank Ferrer.
Fans got to see Slash in action on two separate occasions — 2010 and 2015 — alongside Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy at Sunway.
The trio of Rose, Slash, and McKagan will be accompanied by Dizzy Reed, Frank Ferrer, and Richard Fortus.
