SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 29 — Google commemorated Teresa Teng with a doodle today to mark what would have been the Taiwanese singer’s 65th birthday.
The Google Doodle was illustrated by California-based artist, Cynthia Yuan Cheng.
It references to one of Teng’s most iconic hits, The Moon Represents My Heart (Yue Liang Dai Biao Wor De Xin).
Teng was arguably one of Asia’s biggest stars in the 70s and 80s. She died in 1995 at the age of 42, after suffering a severe respiratory attack while vacationing in Thailand.
