LOS ANGELES, Jan 18 — Momentum Pictures has just released the first trailer for upcoming thriller Beast of Burden that stars Daniel Radcliffe.
Radcliffe stars as Sean Haggerty, a pilot cum drug runner who teams up with the Drug Enforcement Administration to bring down the cartel on the promise of medical treatment for his ailing wife. Needless to say, things don’t go as planned and Haggerty himself having to chose between his allegiance to the cartel or his deal with the government.
The synopsis of the film reads: “Pilot Sean Haggerty (Radcliffe) must deliver cocaine across the US-Mexico border for his final run as a drug smuggler. Alone in a small plane, he is faced with the burden of choosing between his allegiance to the Cartel, his deal with the Drug Enforcement Administration and saving his increasingly tense relationship with his wife, eagerly awaiting his return.”
The film also stars Pablo Schreiber, Renée Willett and Grace Gummer.
Beast of Burden is set for release on February 23.
