JOHOR BARU, Nov 21 — The next time you are in Johor you might want to keep your eyes peeled because you might just bump into a celebrity.

First, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was spotted at a local KFC after performing at the wedding of Johor Princess Tunku Tun Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and Dennis Muhammad Abdullah in August.

And now, Steven Seagal has popped up in the state too.

According to the official Facebook of Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Seagal called on the Johor Ruler in the state capital yesterday.

The pair had a two-hour private discussion over lunch at Forest City in Gelang Patah, the post added.

Seagal is, of course, considered an action movie legend, making his name in films such as Under Siege and Hard to Kill in the 1990s.

It seems he has been travelling around Asia, with his last reported sighting being in Manila where he met Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte to talk about a mutual love of martial arts and the ongoing drug war.

More recently, however, Seagal has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

Earlier this month, several women came forward to accuse Seagal of inappropriate behaviour and harassment, including The Good Wife actress Julianna Margulies, model Jenny McCarthy and Arrested Development actress Portia De Rossi.

At the time of writing, Seagal had yet to respond to the allegations.
