LOS ANGELES, March 7 — The cause of Bill Paxton's has officially been confirmed with the actor’s death certificate stating that he died due to complications from surgery.
Paxton died from a stroke on February 25, just 11 days after undergoing surgery to replace a heart valve and repair damage to his aorta, the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the body.
Paxton was best known for films like Twister, Titanic and Aliens and the HBO series Big Love. He was 61.
Paxton is survived by his wife Louise and two children.
