LOS ANGELES, Feb 23 — Yvonne Strahovski is the latest addition to the cast of The Predator, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Perhaps best known for her role in NBC’s Chuck, Strahovski will join the cast as the mother of a troubled boy, to be played by Jacob Tremblay, who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the alien creatures by his father and her ex-husband, played by Boyd Holbrook.
Strahovski will also join already confirmed cast members Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, and Olivia Munn, with Game of Thrones actor Alfie Allen also confirmed earlier this week.
Shane Black is directing the project, which is the latest in the Predator franchise. Production began on Monday in Vancouver.
Strahovski will also soon be seen in Hulu’s Margaret Atwood adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale alongside Elisabeth Moss and Joseph Fiennes. — AFP-Relaxnews
