LOS ANGELES, April 3 — It takes a lot to impress celebrated country singer Shania Twain, as Ashton Kutcher recently found out.
The two celebrities got into a playful feud on Twitter which all started after the debut of Kutcher’s Netflix series, ‘The Ranch’, in which the character he plays made a few jokes about Twain.
Her fans took to Twitter to air their grievances soon after the episode was aired, which resulted in Kutcher hopping on to the social media platform to send out the following tweet:
Apologies again, Miss @ShaniaTwain. I had no inhibitions, made no conditions and definitely got out of line. @TheRanchNetflix

Twain took note of the tweet which referenced her hit song ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ and replied with an equally clever tweet of her own, referencing another of her big ‘90s hits ‘Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?’:
@aplusk next time you’re lonely, don’t call on me. Try the operator, maybe she’ll be free. @theranchnetflix

To which Kutcher responded with a retweet of the singer’s reply, “Note to self: Shania Twain... not easily impressed.” (Yet another nod to one of Twain’s songs, ‘That Don't Impress Me Much’)
But it was all in good fun, as Twain ended the ‘fued’ with this last tweet:
Having some laughs with @aplusk! :) Good luck with "The Ranch"! https://t.co/vil0fAYbQK
