LOS ANGELES, Dec 16 — Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler are teaming up again for Netflix music drama “Divanation”.
The trio starred in 1996 comedy “First Wives Club”, which was nominated for the Best Music, Original Musical or Comedy Score Oscar the following year.
Now Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn are getting back together for Netflix’s “Divanation”.
They are to play the retired members of a pop group who reunite after an acrimonious split and 30 years apart, eventually rediscovering the magic that made them such a hit in the first place.
The “Surf’s Up” and “Parental Guidance” pairing of Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse provided an initial script, reports Deadline, which sees the announcement as further evidence of Netflix’ courtship of a broader demographic, after Robert Redford and Jane Fonda vehicle “Our Souls at Night” was announced in September. — AFP-Relaxnews
