LOS ANGELES, Jan 31 — Anna Gunn, the former “Breaking Bad” actress, has joined the new “Criminal Minds” team, which will be introduced in an upcoming episode of the mothership series on CBS.
The spin-off on the hit crime series is rounding out its cast.
After announcing Gary Sinise (“CSI: NY”) as the leader of the new FBI unit and Tyler James Williams (“The Walking Dead”) as its tech analyst, CBS has added Anna Gunn, who is best known to TV viewers for her role as Skyler White in “Breaking Bad.”
Bryan Cranston’s former co-star will play Ally Lambert, an international law expert and a brilliant linguist who plays a vital role on the team led by Jack Garrett (Sinise).
The agents in this special FBI unit will be tasked with helping US citizens in trouble overseas.
Anna Gunn won two Emmy Awards for her role on “Breaking Bad.”
