LOS ANGELES, Sept 1 — Following the news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s surprise wedding, reports have said that it was for family and close friends only, however, it looks like Angelina’s own father wasn’t aware of the ceremony.
In an interview after the news broke, the 75-year-old actor, Jon Voight was surprised to hear the news, but kept his cool and just said “that’s nice”, and it looks like he’s one of the lucky few to have seen any photos, as he noted that “it seems like it was very nice — and with all of the kids involved it must have been a lot of fun and very beautiful.”
Jon seems to think he has a good excuse for being unaware though, saying that “it was Emmys week” so he was unable to go to France, and even with the news, he’s not had a chance to congratulate the newlyweds.
But it he missed quite an event, with reports claiming that Angelina’s gown was a “very traditional, comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk” dress. And apparently, when Brad lifted the veil, even he “gasped because she looked so stunning”! — Cover Media
