KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 — Chicken Cottage Ltd (CCL), a subsidiary of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd (Terengganu Inc), is set to open 10 new branches next year as part of an overseas expansion plan.
Terengganu Inc, a state government investment company, holds a 70 per cent stake in CCL.
Next year, CCL is expected to open four branches in London, Dubai (two), Nigeria (three) and Germany (one).
Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said in a statement the company has 81 fast food franchise restaurants in the UK, where it opened its second branch on November 9 in Harrow Road, London.
Ahmad Razif, who is also Terengganu Inc Chairman, said following the branch’s success, the company is exploring international business opportunities outside London. — Bernama
