KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 — AirAsia Bhd has continued its partnership with Tourism Malaysia with a new promotion of up to 70 per cent off fares to all Malaysian destinations.

In a statement today, AirAsia said, the promotion was launched today by Tourism and Culture Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazrl Aziz, and its Commercial Head, Spencer Lee, at the Asean Tourism Forum in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

“The regional promotion is aimed at boosting Malaysia’s tourism sector, the country’s second-largest source of income, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2020, which targeted 36 million tourists and RM168 billion in tourism receipts,” it said.

Lee said the airline looked forward to working even more closely with Tourism Malaysia to offer better connectivity into and within Malaysia.
