KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 25 ― The aerotrain services at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) were disrupted again for a brief period this morning due to “emergency maintenance works”.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) said the service disruption is between 9.30am and 12pm, but one of the aerotrains was back operation earlier than scheduled at 11am.

MAHB said it has 14 buses ready to ferry passengers to their boarding gates due to the aerotrain disruption.

Roughly 12,000 passengers will be affected by the shutdown, MAHB said.

The aerotrain has experienced frequent shutdowns in the past few months.

Last September 2017, passengers walked along the aerotrain track towards their boarding gates when an aerotrain broke down mid-journey.
