KOTA BARU, June 10 ― Muslim Aid Malaysia plans to help 4,000 poor folks in all states in the peninsula under the Fast2feed Ramadan programme this year.
Chairman of Board of Trustees, Habsah Marjuni said they have already delivered cash and basic needs to some 2,000 poor folks as Ramadan reaches the half way mark (two weeks).
“Our main activity is to help the poor, orphans, inmates of old folks homes, orang asli and refugees,” she told Bernama at Coca-Cola-Muslim Aid Malaysia programme for Ramadan at Mydin Hypermarket last night.
Habsah said the joint programme with beverage giant Coca-Cola Malaysia is into its seventh year.
“The company’s continued support allows us to help more poor folks each year during Ramadan. We welcome donations from individuals or corporations to provide hope to the poor.” ― Bernama
