KLANG, Sept 18 — Another non-governmental organisation today made a police report to protest against the holding of Bersih 5 rally in Kuala Lumpur, saying it would only disrupt security and public order.
The police report lodged by Pertubuhan Mesra Setiakawan Malaysia (PMSM) at the South Klang district headquarters is aimed at enabling security forces to take action against the rally organisers.
PMSM president, Mohd Azli Jaafar said the gathering was seen as once again creating losses for traders in the affected areas and which could lead to riots.
He also wanted police to investigate Bersih chairman, Maria Chin Abdullah when she allegedly incited political hatred via a video recording uploaded onto social websites recently.
Maria had reportedly set the date for Bersih 5 assembly and it was said that there would be several convoys to various parts of the country from Oct 1 in the run-up to the rally. — Bernama
