KUALA KUBU BARU, May 7 — An ETS train travelling to Ipoh collided with another train shortly after leaving the Kuala Kubu Baru station today, according to a Star Online report.

The train had left KL Sentral at about 12:30pm today and had reached the Kuala Kubu Baru station after travelling for 90 minutes when the collision occurred.

According to the Star Online report, some passengers onboard the train suffered minor injuries, while a woman was reported to have fainted.

However, none of the passengers were flung from their seats as a result of the impact.

Police and fire brigade personnel rescued passengers from the train, and buses were arranged to send them onwards to Ipoh.

Meanwhile, pictures of the scene of the accident showed the shattered windscreen of the ETS.
