KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 — The Anglican Church’s archbishop-elect Rev Datuk Ng Moon Hing is the new head of the Southeast Asian region covering the dioceses of West Malaysia, Kuching in Sarawak, Sabah and Singapore.

The bishop of the Anglican Church of the West Malaysian diocese was elected as the Primate of the Anglican Church of Southeast Asia last September 2, replacing fellow Malaysian, Archbishop Datuk Bolly Lapok from Sarawak.

The 60-year-old Ipoh-born’s term starts from today until 2020.

His installation ceremony at the St Mary’s Cathedral here is scheduled to begin at 4pm and will be streamed live on video-sharing website Youtube.
