KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — A relative, believed to be the sister, of operations assistant Aidana Baizieva has reportedly arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital’s mortuary to claim Baizieva’s body.
According to The Star Online, the woman arrived at the morgue today at around10.45am, but she declined to speak to reporters, who were not allowed into the premises.
The woman, who was accompanied by a man from the Kyrgyzstan Embassy, was reported to be in the midst of settling the paperwork for the release of the body.
The report also stated that an embassy spokesman had earlier confirmed Aidana as being a Kyrgyzstan national and that she had been working in Malaysia for a while.
“Records showed that she had been in Malaysia for at least a year,” she was quoted by The Star Online as saying, declining to reveal more.
Baizieva was on-board the ill-fated helicopter carrying six people that crashed in a rubber plantation in Semenyih, Selangor, at 4.55pm on Saturday.
Others included Rompin Member of Parliament and PR1MA Malaysia Corporation (PR1MA) chairman Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis; Datuk Azlin Alias, the principal private secretary of the prime minister; pilot Clifford William Fournier; businesman Datuk Tan Huat Seang and Jamaluddin’s bodyguard, Razakan B Seran.
