NEW YORK, Sept 19 — Here’s how you create a dairy-free coffee drink with a satisfying, latte-like mouthfeel. 

All you need is a blender, some coffee and a little bit of Xantan gum.

Xantan gum is a common ingredient used in food preparation as a thickening agent.

Once blended, the gum works with the coffee by making it frothy, taking on a velvety texture…just like a good cup of latte!
