SEPT 4 — Another shot of inferno is spat out by Alvin Tan who, up to this day, proved to speak nothing but effrontery to match the minds of lower class radicals such as himself.

He revealed a tattoo he got on his thigh depicting the word Allah written in Arabic characters on Facebook.

The post is obviously an act of mockery.

At the same time, the caller for prayer (azan) echoes all over the city but Muslims are busy getting offended, they immediately endeavor to save the face of their religion by typing equally impudent words - anger most definitely cannot wait.

None of my social networking feeds are free from people swearing here and there, proving exactly what Tan meant when he claimed Islam to be a “religion of peace”.

They are too hypocritical to realise that they too are insulting the religion by being contemptible exemplars and by failing to bring out true Islamic values at such critical times.

With the problems of human trafficking, economic blunders, contentious leaders and corruption, they still choose to allocate their time and effort getting angry over a fancy tattoo on the back of someone’s disgusting, unevenly-hairy thigh.

What an astonishing order of priorities.

A religion should be able to not only withstand but welcome challenges and critiques, those far bigger than unintelligent rants of Tan.

A religion teaches its followers morality, manners, and the rights ways to argue. A religion should not easily be shaken when insulted, it should stand strong as its pillars.

A religion should empower its followers, not make them super sensitive and weak.

A religion of peace should be peaceful at all times, or it would lose, then, defeat its purpose.
