KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 ― If the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch wasn’t quite your style, Fitbit is trying to change your mind with the Fitbit Versa.

The latest smartwatch from Fitbit offers a sleeker, less bulky design while still offering a good selection of fitness features.

What makes the Versa stand out in a crowd of trackers and health-centric watches is a minimalistic approach to design ― a square face paired with slim straps, allowing for mixing-and-matching thanks to the availability of additional straps for purchase.

Fitbit claims a battery life of around four days, heart tracking as well as version 2.0 of its Fitbit app. With the app, users can take advantage of Fitbit’s own personalised fitness guidance.

Female health tracking is also set to be added as a feature soon for both the Versa and the previously launched Fitbit Ionic.

Besides fitness tracking, the Versa will offer notifications, music playback via Bluetooth, and a selection of apps from Fitbit’s own Fitbit App Gallery.

The Fitbit Versa will be priced at RM990 with the special edition retailing at RM1,120. Accessories will be priced from RM130-RM420.

It will be available at Harvey Norman, All IT Hypermarket, AONE Plus, Best Denki, Timekeeper, Thunder Match Technology and Lazada.
