SAN FRANCISCO, Aug 31 — The fourth-generation Apple TV is expected to retail at under US$200 (RM834), according to 9to5Mac.
The new device looks set to sell for either US$149 or US$199, according to sources, although Apple is believed to still be finalising pricing.
According to the website’s sources, the new Apple TV 4 will be significantly pricier than its previous versions, with the current model originally retailing at US$99 at launch, and then US$69 this past March.
The device is expected to be thicker and slightly wider than the current version, and will offer new services like Siri support and a new remote control.
The official launch of the next-generation Apple TV looks set to take place at the September 9 Apple event with the device reportedly going on sale in October. — AFP-Relaxnews
