LOS ANGELES, April 12 — Dwayne Johnson leads an all star cast in Rampage, a science fiction monster film based on the iconic video game of the same name — and personal favourite of his growing up.

It co-stars Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and follows a primatologist who must team-up with George, an albino gorilla who turns into a raging creature of enormous size following a rogue experiment, in order to stop an invasion of monsters.

This isn’t the first time that Dwayne Johnson has been part of a video game becoming a Hollywood movie — he also starred in Doom back in 2005. Rampage hits theatres on April 13, 2018. — Reuters
