LOS ANGELES, Feb 12 — Need some whimsical animated fare? Try Satellite Girl and Milk Cow created by writer and director Chang Hyung-yun.

It was originally released in Korea in 2014, making the film festival rounds. It has now been picked up GKids to be shown in the US market.
The story tells the tale of a curious satellite who travels to Earth after hearing a lovelorn ballad. Said satellite is transformed into Satellite Girl, and she finds her balladeer is a lovelorn individual who had been turned into a farm animal.
Aided by Merlin, the powerful wizard who is now a roll of toilet paper, the unlikely duo must face a wily pig witch among other weird assorted enemies.
The film is expected to open in selected theatres this summer as well as on video-on-demand.
