LOS ANGELES, Jan 25 — Check out this new trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of Joe Kelly and J.M. Ken Niimura’s popular 2008 graphic novel I Kill Giants.
The film revolves around Barbara Thorson (played by Madison Wolfe), a troubled teenager who escapes the difficult realities in her life by retreating into a magical world where she battles monstrous giants.
Her fantasies of monsters and giants attract the attention of her school psychologist Mrs Molle (Zoe Saldana) who attempts to help the girl work through her issues.
The film also stars Sydney Wade and Imogen Poots.
The synopsis of the film reads: “Barbara Thorson (Wolfe) is a teenage girl who escapes the realities of school and a troubled family life by retreating into her magical world of fighting evil giants. With the help of her new friend Sophia (Wade) and her school counsellor (Saldana), Barbara learns to face her fears and battle the giants that threaten her world.”
I Kill Giants is set for release on March 23.
