LOS ANGELES, March 28 — See Diane Lane, Alec Baldwin and Arnaud Viard in this first trailer for upcoming romantic comedy Paris Can Wait.

Written and directed by Eleanor Coppola, long married to a successfully driven but inattentive movie producer (Baldwin), Anne (Lane) finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with a business associate of her husband (Viard).

The road trip veers from what should be a seven-hour drive into a two-day odyssey of sightseeing, food porn, libations and personal awakenings.

The synopsis of the film reads: “Anne (Lane) is at a crossroads in her life. Married to a successful but inattentive movie producer (Baldwin), she unexpectedly finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with her husband’s business associate (Viard). What should be a seven-hour drive turns into a carefree two-day adventure replete with diversions involving picturesque sights, fine food and wine, humour, wisdom and romance, reawakening Anne's senses and giving her a new lust for life.”

Paris Can Wait is set for release on May 12.
