LOS ANGELES, Dec 12 — Buckle up folks, as the first official trailer of Fast and Furious 8 has just been released.

Vin Diesel reunites with Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Elsa Pataky, and Nathalie Emmanuel in the film. Other new additions include Charlize Theron, Deepika Padukone and Scott Eastwood.

As can be expected from the popular franchise, there’s lots of action and thrilling car scenes that will fans satiated.

The synopsis of the film reads: “Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game — and the rest of the crew has been exonerated — the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

“From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world’s stage… and to bring home the man who made them a family.”

Fast and Furious 8, or Fast 8 as it is known in the US, is set for release on April 14, 2017. Two further movies are in the works with planned release dates set as April 19, 2019 and April 2, 2021.
