LOS ANGELES, July 14 — An Ohio toddler who was filmed flawlessly mimicking the workout routine of iconic film character Rocky Balboa has caught the attention of none other than Sylvester Stallone.

Originally posted on Facebook by his father Zack Magilavy, the video captured by his amused mother shows aspiring two-year-old boxer Charlie Magilavy pummelling the air, pretending to jump rope, and performing push-ups, in perfect imitation of a scene from Rocky II.

The video has since been viewed more than two million times.

Now Charlie will have to prepare for the fight of his life (in a couple of years time) after Stallone offered to take him on in the 10th instalment of the popular boxing films in a tongue-in-cheek Instagram posting yesterday.

The 70-year-old movie star expressed his delight, before issuing his challenge: “This kid makes me so proud that it touches a heart so young … Maybe I have to fight him (in) ROCKY 10!”

There have been seven Rocky films so far, with the latest being Creed which was released last year.
