LOS ANGELES, March 2 ― If you still can’t get enough of Disney’s High School Musical, you’ll be glad to know a new movie is being planned for the popular franchise.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Disney Channel has announced that casting for High School Musical 4 is underway with Teen Beach Movie director Jeffrey Hornaday at the helm.
Disney Channels Worldwide President and CEO Gary Marsh in a statement said: “High School Musical is part of Disney Channel’s DNA. It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we’re excited to announce ‘the start of something new’ ― as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth instalment of the High School Musical franchise.”
