NEW YORK, Sept 6 — This 8-bit ‘Star Wars’ parody from Dorkly features the Death Star architect defending himself for the much-vilified exhaust ports that led to the destruction of the Empire’s greatest weapon.
The unnamed architect expressed his frustrations after being told that he’s “singlehandedly responsible for the destruction of our ultimate weapon and battlestation!”
He then described how he had been punished (force choked!), and took his time to point out why the exhaust ports are necessary (ventilation!) and along the way, made numerous references to how he did not expect to have to deal with magic space wizards (jedis!).
The Death Star, an incomplete Empire spacecraft and galactic superweapon, capable of destroying an entire planet with its powerful superlaser, was blown up by Luke Skywalker in 'Star Wars IV: A New Hope'.
