LOS ANGELES, Aug 19 — A new coming-of-age story is set to hit cinemas, when Freddie Highmore (“Bates Motel”), Haley Joel Osment and Odeya Rush (“The Giver”) star in “Holding Patterns”, reports Deadline.

Filming for “Holding Patterns” has already begun in Mobile, Alabama.

The film sees Highmore portraying a man in his mid-20s still living at home and whose stepfather falls for a young woman in a relationship. As the lines between friendship and intimacy become blurred, the pair must examine what they want for their lives.

Co-starring in the film are Rita Volk, Jake Abel and Taylor John Smith. Jake Goldberger, working from his own script, is directing the picture.
