KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 — Family and friends may pay their last respects to late Tan Sri (Dr) Yeoh Tiong Lay tomorrow, Oct 19, from 7 pm onwards at 2 Lorong Buloh Perindu 1, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.
The founder of YTL Group of Companies passed away peacefully today. He was 88.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of the head of our family, Tan Sri (Dr) Yeoh Tiong Lay but comforted that he has gone home to our Lord Jesus Christ.
“We are four generations that have had the privilege of enjoying his presence for 88 years and he will be truly missed,” YTL Corporation Bhd said in a statement here today.
It said there would be wake services on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8.30 pm, while the funeral service would be on Sunday Oct 22, at 10 am.
The cortege will leave for Nilai Memorial Park at 12 pm.
Yeoh Tiong Lay is survived by his wife, Puan Sri Tan Kai Yong, seven children, Tan Sri (Dr) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping, Datuk Yeoh Soo Min, Datuk (Dr) Victor Yeoh Seok Kian, Datuk Yeoh Seok Hong, Datuk Seri Michael Yeoh Sock Siong, Datuk Yeoh Soo Keng, Datuk Mark Yeoh Seok Kah, 27 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
