KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 ― A Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Youth wing executive committee member today lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission alleging that two top leaders of the party had been involved in abuse of power and corruption.
Mohamad Taufik Abas, who lodged the report at the MACC headquarters here, claimed that some time back, one of the leaders had awarded a RM214.2 million project to the other leader without going through the proper procedures.
Both these leaders were in positions of power back then, he told reporters.
He added that he had also handed over documents that could help the MACC regarding the case. ― Bernama
