PUTRAJAYA, June 14 — A traffic police motorcycle outrider escorting Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah was injured after he knocked into a 4WD vehicle here today.
Lance Corporal Jay Morris injured his forehead and mouth when the vehicle stopped suddenly at Lebuh Sentosa at 5pm as he was escorting Ahmad Bashah from the Finance Ministry to the IOI Marriot Hotel, said Putrajaya Police chief ACP Rosly Hasan.
Jay was rushed in an ambulance to the Putrajaya Hospital, he said. — AFP
