JOHOR BARU, June 1 — The video recording of a Perodua Myvi speeding against the traffic flow which allegedly occurred on PLUS Highway near the Kulai Rest and Recreation (R & R) area (northbound) went viral on social media today.
The video, which lasted one minute 26 seconds, shows the vehicle speeding dangerously on the right side of the road.
The incident which allegedly occurred at 8.20am is believed to have been recorded by several motorists before being uploaded on Facebook (FB) and also shared on WhatsApp.
However, Kulai district police chief, Supt Razak Md Said said police had not received any report from any party on the incident.
“It was also found that PLUS, the Malaysian Highway Authority and Bukit Aman Highway Patrol Unit had not received any report on the incident,” he said.
The video clip has received more than 230,000 views and 4,000 shares on FB. — Bernama
