KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 — A taxi driver who pleaded guilty to flashing his genitals at a woman in a condominium lift was sentenced to two days’ jail by the Selayang Magistrate’s Court here today.
Majistrate Nurul Izzah Hasan Basri also ordered P. Mogan, 38, to pay a RM2,000 fine in default eight months’ jail.
The father of two admitted flashing his private parts with the intention of outraging the modesty of the 33-year-old woman at the Magnaville Condominium in Gombak here at 4.20pm on Nov 18.
Earlier, Mogan who was unrepresented, appealed for minimum sentence as he was the main breadwinner for his family.
His children are aged nine and 12.
Deputy public prosecutor K. Vasugi urged the court to mete out a deterrent sentence to teach the taxi driver a lesson. — Bernama
