ALOR STAR, Dec 7 — A 35-year-old woman who slit her sons’ throats and slashed her own wrist will be charged at the Sungai Petani magistrate’s court tomorrow, the police said in a report by The Star Online.
The woman, who is believed to be suffering from depression, allegedly killed her two children, aged three and five, using a vegetable knife at her home in Sungai Petani on December 1.
The body of the two boys, Tee Cong Ming, five, and Tee Cong Shern, three, were found by the woman’s father, Saw Weng Choon, 60.
Saw also found his daughter with her left wrist slashed in another room.
The woman has been warded and remanded at the psychiatric ward of Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani, the daily wrote.
