PUTRAJAYA, Sept 30 — Kindergarten operators are advised to reduce outdoor activities for children under their care during the haze which is afflicting the country.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister, Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said the kindergarten operators should always monitor the situation to prevent the children from being exposed to the haze.
“Parents are also advised to monitor their children’s activities to ensure they stay indoors during the hazy condition.
“They should also watch over their children’s health condition and seek immediate medical attention if their (children) health is affected by the haze,” she said in a statement, here, today.
Rohani said the ministry also hoped that parents would take proactive measures such as providing their children with facemasks to reduce the health risks. — Bernama
