IPOH, July 10 — A nightclub worker was slashed by two men armed with a parang and a Samurai sword in a fight outside a nightclub early today.

Ipoh police chief Supt Ahmad Termizi Abdul Haq said the two men aged 22 years and 23 years respectively slashed the victim in the forehead.

"The victim aged 29 years was slashed by two men armed with a parang and Samurai sword," he told reporters, here today.

After receiving a tip-off from the public, police patrolmen in an MPV arrested two suspects in Greentown here, at 4.35 am.

Ahmad Termizi said the suspects were remanded for six days and the case was investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for causing injury.

The victim received received eight stitches on the forehead at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB). — Bernama
