TOKYO, Nov 2 — Have you ever wanted your own edible birthstone? Well, look no further. Japan-exclusive Kit Kat has come up with a range of beautiful edibles using local flavours and high-quality ingredients.

Specialty Kit Kat flavours, long a popular item among tourists to the Land of the Rising Sun, now has the Kit Kat Chocolatory Birthstone series, starting November. Each flavour is limited to the corresponding month so it’s a pretty exclusive chocolate. But it also means we have something new to look forward to each month.

November’s birthstone flavour is the amber-coloured Topaz Kit Kat.

The gemstone lookalike at the tip of the Kit Kat is a dragee. In addition to a special colour, each birthstone Kit Kat has a unique, often seasonal, flavour, which in the case of November is chestnut.

These exclusive chocolates are priced at ¥1,485 (US$13.50, RM55) for a pack of three sticks.

At the moment, they can only be found at Kit Kat’s Japanese Chocolatory specialty stores as well as online from Amazon and Rakuten.
