KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 — The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) and Armed Forces have yet to settle the outstanding wages of players, respectively.

In a statement today, The Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) has revealed that players from both teams have lodged complaints that their arrears in salary has not been settled fully.

Kelantan owes five players RM477,000 in total while the Armed Forces owes a whopping sum of RM3.7 million to 15 players.

The 90 days period given by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) to resolve the salary issue ends today.

"As for the outstanding amount owed by KAFA, the PFAM is disappointed because the association had failed to follow the schedule of payment agreed by both parties.

"As for the Armed Forces, there is no feedback of any attempt to settle the outstanding amount," said PFAM.

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Malaysia's Appeals Committee has yet to decide on an appeal from Felda FC with regard to the RM220,000 owed to former player Azrul Ahmad.

The PFAM has among others recommended that teams that owed money to players be barred from signing players during the June (registration window for new players) and to deduct points from teams that owed money. — Bernama
